Director of MISS
Dr Sharif Elgafi is an experienced Doctor specialising in Emergency Medicine.
He has experience working in Asia, the Middle East and Australia.
He also has volunteer experience in Sudan, Indonesia and Turkey as well as East Africa and Asia.
In addition to his specialist qualifications he holds a Master’s degree in International Public Health as well as in International Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid.
He is currently working in Emergency Medicine.

Funi Suharini (Ustaza Ummu Raihanah) is a graduate of the Islamic and Arabic College of Indonesia (LIPIA). She has been teaching and serving the Indonesian Women’s community for 20 years. She is based in Sydney, Australia. Ustaza Ummu Raihanah is the founder of MISS.
